Board Certified Providers
Our Providers are Board Certified and well trained. We provide you with compassionate and comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, education and management of obstetrical and gynecological health issues.
Together, we prioritize health maintenance and well women exams. While we are excited about our outstanding provider group that we currently have, the Promised Land vision going forward will include 28 providers made up of Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Midwives, and Certified Nurse Practitioners to fully educate and implement its calling to serve women of Atlanta and from the world.
Keisha Endsley McEwen, M.D., FACOG
Keisha Endsley McEwen, MD
Dr. Keisha McEwen is the medical director of Promised Land Women’s Center. A proud native of Atlanta, GA. She was born at the very hospital she works and delivers babies, the former Crawford Long Memorial Hospital, now Emory University Hospital Midtown. Dr. McEwen earned her undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Her residency was completed at Louisiana State University- Shreveport. She is also Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
Dr. McEwen has a passion for taking care of women. She enjoys delivering babies but has a particular interest in surgery. Her interests include adolescent medicine, minimally invasive surgery and endometriosis management. She works with a wide range of problems affecting women from high-risk pregnancies to menopausal care.

Virginia Thomas, CNM
Virginia Thomas, CNM
Virginia grew up in Fitzgerald, Ga. She graduated from Albany State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked in labor and delivery and this is where her “true love” for women’s health led to her continued educated and degree of Masters of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Cincinnati. Her practice will focus on providing women’s healthcare and obstetric services. Virginia enjoys women’s health and helping women in all stages of their reproductive lives. Some of her services include family planning, birth control, annual exams, STD testing/treatment, and many more. Virginia believes that every woman should be provided the best care and women’s health services should be available to everyone. Virginia is married and blessed with 3 kids. Virginia enjoys reading, singing, shopping, and spending time with family and friends
Dr. Hyacinth Dennis- Crooks, DNP, FNP-BC.
Dr. Hyacinth Dennis- Crooks, DNP, FNP-BCDr.
Hyacinth Dennis-Crooks is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a doctorate in nursing. A native of Jamaica W. She graduated with her Baccalaureate of science degree from The College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York State where she was a member of The International Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau. She obtains a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 2004 and was Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2005. She obtained a terminal degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University in 2018.
